3. What personal data is collected
We require name, address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as health data, speech samples, videos, therapy data and reports to contact you and exchange information.
We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
4. Purpose and legal basis
We process your data on the basis of the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and all other laws relevant to us in terms of data protection.
We collect and store your data for contacting and consulting you about KST. The processing is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures according to Art. 6 lit. b) EU-GDPR.
5. Recipients of personal data
Data will only be disclosed to third parties if KST has the authorization or the obligation based on applicable law.
In various cases, we use order processors in accordance with Article 28 DSGVO, which may receive data from us or have access to your data in connection with their service.
n selecting our service providers, we place particular emphasis on their reliability and ensure that data is stored within Germany. We avoid transferring data to other countries and only do so if it is absolutely necessary for the aforementioned purposes.
6. Duration of storage
The duration of the storage of your data depends on the legal retention periods. According to §10 para. 3 of the professional code of conduct for physicians in Hesse, the retention period for patient records is 10 years, unless a longer retention period is required by law. The period begins with the completion of your treatment. The period regulated in the professional regulations is a minimum period.
Kassel Stuttering Therapy data may be stored longer for the purpose of evaluation.
7. Your rights
You have the right to receive information about the personal data stored in the KST according to Art. 15 GDPR. The correction or completion of incorrect data can be requested according to Art. 16 GDPR.
A deletion or blocking of data can be requested according to Art. 17 or 18 GDPR.
You have the right to object to the storage of your data according to Art. 21 GDPR. However, no therapy participation can take place without storing your data. You have the right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR, i.e. to receive the data stored in the KST in a machine-readable format and to transfer it to another responsible person named by you.
8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Any person affected by data processing has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR if he or she believes that the processing violates data protection law.
